Armed Forces Plaza

The Armed Forces Plaza is opposite of the Wall of Remembrance.  Six free standing monoliths representing the six uniformed branches of service stand in a semi-circle. Each monolith displays the service’s emblem and images of that branch. The service flag of each branch fly adjacent to its monolith.  Centered in front of the six monoliths is a four sided pedestal with a sculpture of the American Bald Eagle on top. This Bald Eagle symbolizes the strength, independence, and freedom of America. On the four sides of the pedestal is informative and educational information about the National Anthem, The Great Seal of the United States, the American Flag and the American Bald Eagle.
